And I Can't Forget...

The Killdeer eggs. Every spring my Parent's have killdeer that lay eggs in their rocks. It is fun to watch the Killdeer parents. We try to leave them alone for the most part but always have to sneak a peak at the eggs.

Stop At Vantage...

We also stopped at the old Vantage bridge landing on the Columbia River. We tried to figure out where the bridge would have crossed. A little research is needed before we go back. It was fun to see the freshwater clams and swallows gathering mud for their nests.

We Visited Petrified Trees...

The desert flowers where in bloom.

We spent Mother's Day hiking through Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park. We where fascinated by the giant petrified trees that we could look at through the grates. I also loved looking at the buildings from the Civilian Conservation Corps built in the 1930's.

Sophie Is On Two Wheels...

Ceci's legs have grown long enough for the Big Wheel.

Sophie has been on two wheels for a couple of months now. A VERY big deal at our house. These pictures where taken at Grammie and Poppie's house a couple of weeks ago. They went round and round. Ceci would speed up to hit the gravel and then push to get around the corner.
It was awesome!

Oh Boy...

We have been ridiculously busy! There and back and there and back again. I've got some huge catching up to do.

Officially One...

I'm not quite sure how but Gia is officially one. Her birthday was last Friday. We had a little dinner followed by a little cake. I guess the best thing to say is "Time flies when your having fun."

The Queen...

Pocket Park...

Ceci sent Gia down the slide.

Sophie was ready for the catch.

I wasn't expecting the baby to go down alone. But everything turned out fine.

I didn't tell them to pose for the this picture. Yup, it was an eventful visit.

Time Honored Tradition...

Her eyes were a little wild after licking the beater.
