We spent the weekend at my Parents house. Sophie had a pony ride and Ceci spent a lot of time in her artistic pursuits. Unfortunately I forgot to take my camera around with me and we are a little shy on pictures today.

Amazing what a difference a year can make. Ballet is going much better this time around.

Last Hoorah For The Easy Bake...

Sometimes I wonder how we survived our childhood. As you all know there have been a ton of children's toy recalls. Yesterday we received our box to return the Easy Bake Oven. I thought we should use it one last time. The girls loved baking with the light bulb. Even though I am following all of the recall guidelines I still wonder what happened to parental supervision and responsibility?

Ceci misses Sophie like crazy during school. When we get home they are absolutely inseparable for the rest of the day. I definately enourage their friendship and hope that they are able to continue to enjoy each other.

A Very Busy Girl...

Apparently Ceci was busy last night. Reviewing my photos this morning I found these little gems. They certainly made me smile.

Will Walk For Donuts...

We were up early this morning and decided to go for a walk around the marina. The donuts went perfectly with our walk. Even Starbuck came along for some fresh air.
The girls loved breakfast today.

Meet our new friend Duncan. Even a Jack Russell Terrier is more mellow than Starbuck.

The Girls are still horse-crazy. Ceci has even mastered the imaginary pony riding. Amazing considering that she was just starting to walk this time last year.

Sophie finished her ice cream and said that priceless line tonight. After I cleaned up the ice cream that came out of my nose we had a very serious talk about bad words, naughty words and only grown-up words. Wes and I are still arguing over who she got that from.

We Went Camping...

Some of this may look a little familiar. We do love to play in the dirt in our jammies in front of complete strangers

at 6:30 in the morning.The classy barn I made for Sophie's horses.

Do you think we are sending the wrong message to our kids? I like to think that I'm teaching them to recycle and be creative with what they've got at the time.

We actually camped at the State Park down the road from our house. It was perfect. We came home on Saturday for naps, food, TV and showers.
