Tub Thumpin'....

These pictures make our lawn look good. We have a bad case of mildew (we think) in our front yard. It has turned everything into mud in the front yard.

The girls were also up to their old laundry basket tricks tonight. I turned on the TV so I could talk to my friend Heather tonight. When I checked on them they had both climbed into tubs.

Preschool Bound...

I can't believe how fast the time passes. I finally found a preschool for Sophie for next year that is only two days a week. Knowing that she has two more years until Kindergarten I was not ready to make the commitment to drive her three mornings a week. I also wanted to have the time to take her to other classes as well.

We're Home...

Today Is Our Sunday...

With Wes's schedule rotating and changing today is our Sunday. Everything started out pretty smoothly. Sophie and I were on-time out the door to ballet when we got a warning light in the Touerag telling me we had a flat tire. Boy was it ever flat. Good thing we never left the driveway. Our day was basically wasted after that. Poor Wes had to change the tire and then we all went to good ol' Les Schwab. Really the day wasn't bad just basically wasted.

The girls and Starbuck had a good time in the yard late this afternoon. They were all covered in mud because everything is terribly wet. Starbuck got sent to her kennel for jumping on me. She just started doing that this afternoon. Not cool dog...

Lookin' Good...

Sophie is really into dressing herself these days. She alternates between her "Huh-Y" dress and her puppy jammies. But then she also loves anything that came from Teagan too. I can't seem to get to the bottom of the laundry basket with her changing clothes up to five times a day. Wes tried to put a stop to it today and met with sharp resistance. We are all about the drama.

Signs Of Spring...

We went outside and enjoyed the beautiful afternoon. We marveled at all of the new faces in the neighborhood. The girls and I enjoyed seeing all of our old friends outside as well. It is like the end of a long hibernation.

Happy St. Patrick's Day...

We tried corned beef tonight for dinner. Not to terrible for my first attempt. I also made roasted potatoes with apples and onions. Poor Wes is still at work. He is getting in a little over time tonight. I have a Guinness waiting for him in the fridge.

The girls are loving their Polly's again. I'm glad because I think they are so cute. I put away all of their little shoes and other tiny pieces so Ceci can play with them as well.

Little Green Balloons...

I guess that I am starting to loosen up a bit in my old age. In the past I have been absolutely paranoid of balloons like these. I let the girls play with them for a solid half hour before they "disappeared". I decided if I only blew them up a little they would be super hard to pop. But as soon as they started chewing on the balloons my nerves couldn't take it any longer.

Tent Love...

I set up a couple of tents for the girls this morning to play in. It lasted long enough for me to get the breakfast dishes done and then Ceci sat on Sophie's tent and it was all over.

Sophie's A Genius...

Seriously she said, "Shreik is enormous." What a great word for a 3 year old to use in context. But then again, look at our girls, don't they look normal? What is normal?

I Am So Tired...

We had the biggest weekend in the 'Burg. We drove over Thursday after Wes got off work. Friday morning we went to the Tri-Cities to visit with our friends in their new mansion. (Seriously, it's gorgeous!) Saturday was spent on Kimmie and Colby's wedding and visiting with his parents. Sunday was spent working on the outside of Mom and Dad's house and enjoying the amazing weather. Today we drove home. Now we are watching Shreik and eating Mac Nut Chocolate. (Thanks Pacheco Family!) Phew, I'm tired writing it all down.

Twister Sisters...

These are a few pictures from Ceci and Sophie's weekend with Auntie Kimmie and Uncle Colby. They took the girls to the children museum. After hearing about the museum I'm not sure who had a better time. All four of them were pretty exhausted after the weekend. The girls are like two tornado's tearing through a mobile home park when they are in the presence of new toys...See you tomorrow Mom ;)

No Complaints Here...

We had a beautiful 60 Degree day. After Ballet this morning we went directly outside to dig in the dirt.

On another note, we've been very careful not to purchase food with trans fat in them for awhile now. I was very disappointed to read on an Eggos box that they contain trans fat. I've noticed trans fat now on a couple of different kinds of children's foods. Another one I found was Pillsbury's break and bake refrigerator cookies. I'm sad to mark a couple of favorites off our list. But its just not worth it...
