Poor C. She managed to lick something somewhere and pick up another bug. Wes and I noticed her fever last night at bedtime. Hopefully it will pass soon.
Sophie on the other hand feels great. We are currently considering purchasing a giant Hamster Wheel for her.
Santa brought Ceci and Sophie a Giraffe tent for Christmas. It has taken up residence in our living room. I don't mind to much because the girls play in it and keep all of their toys in it. So Mama Giraffe stays for now. 
We had big juicy snowflakes falling for most of the afternoon yesterday. When I went to wake the monkeys up from nap I caught them watching the snow on Ceci's bed. The snow is all gone today.
We have to make a trip to the dump this weekend. The debris from Christmas is absolutely appalling. I finally finished cleaning everything up this morning and now I can't fit my car in the garage again. 
Natalie and Claire came for a visit this afternoon. I caught up with Ben and Heather while Sophie and Ceci terrorized the Girls!
Last Thursday Sophie had a Christmas Program for preschool. Before the concert we took the opportunity to a photo shoot in front of Grandma's tree.

Here are a few outakes from our morning Christmas photo session. As you can tell a good time was had by all. We are spending the day scrambling to get Christmas cards done, baking finished, house cleaned and presents wrapped. And tonight is the final ballet class before Christmas break as well as Sophie's Preschool Christmas Program. Wish me luck!
This is the first year that the Monkeys could really help decorate the tree. They did a great job and the bottom three feet are just perfect. 
When I finally took the Christmas decorations out the girls had a great time digging through them. 
We still haven't decorated for Christmas inside. And I really haven't started Christmas shopping. We have a serious case of the gray winter Blahs! I'm hoping to break the cycle and decorate today and get into the spirit.
Wes and I went to Spokane on Saturday for a quick meet-and-greet with Marcus. We left the still recovering monkeys with Poppie and ran over for the day. He is gorgeous and we can't wait to spend more time with him and his fabulous sisters.
The monkeys were seriously down last week. We're talking stomach flu, head colds, double ear infections, double pink eye (I could go on)...you name it we had it. Knock on wood we seem to be past the worst.
Some people are mountain people and some are beach people. I am a beach person. Snow is just not my thing. I lasted outside about 3 minutes and 5 pictures. Ceci came in with me crying and Sophie made it a little longer. Wes is of course still out there devising different reasons to go drive in this stuff. Needless to say I am feeling rather grumpy today.
I have some beautiful early morning light pictures from yesterday. Unfortunately my slider glass is to filthy to share the pictures with you. I've been meaning to clean our windows for something like three years.
The monkeys are staying busy indoors these days. Yesterday they broke out the dress-up clothes for some "princess time".
