Anyone Have Cabin Fever Yet?...

We spent another day inside with the frigid weather outside. I actually miss the rain. At least we can go outside in the rain. Poor Starbuck really fights going outside to do her "bidness."

Out in the Snow...

Wes somehow talked me into going out into the weather today. We went to Fred Meyer for fun...seriously. We probably have 2 feet of snow in our backyard. The roads are a mess and it is in the low-teens. I made the poor girls go outside to take some pictures. Ceci is like her Mama and does not like the cold. Fine by me.

More Snow...

Sophie loves the snow. This is the first year that she has realized what is going on. She had a blast outside with Wes today. Ceci only made it outside for a quick picture. She didn't have any snow pants or mittens to wear. Poor baby... I took her inside pretty fast, not that she minded. We have a little over a foot and expected to get another 4-6 inches tonight. Wes is excited to drive to work tonight.

Snow?!...

We went out tonight to buy a new bed for Starbuck and run some errands. By the time we came back it was snowing like crazy. Wes enjoyed himself much to my dismay. I'm not a fan of winter driving. Way to many car accidents flash through my brain. I heard in the grocery store that we might end end up with as much as 6 inches by morning.

Also, I'd like to introduce the newest member of our family "Genius Fish." Sophie caught Wes and I in a moment of weakness and we finally gave in on a fish. We bought a $1.99 Beta Fish at PetSmart for her. She is completely in love with the fish. She cried when she went to bed and Genius Fish couldn't stay in her room. By the way, Sophia promptly named her Genius Fish as soon as she picked her out. I'm just hoping to keep her alive for a couple of days.

Thanksgiving Photo-OP...

We had a great Thanksgiving. We hosted Wes's family this year. Sophia and Peyton had a great time being Princesses. Ceci just sat and took notes for next year.

Happy Turkey Day...

Well, we had pizza and B&J's Margaritas for dinner tonight. I guess that we are banking on the turkey turning out tomorrow.

I spent most of the day cooking for tomorrow. My goal was to get nearly everything done today and enjoy tomorrow. I think that we can say mission is accomplished. I'm going to bed tonight feeling pretty good.

Pizza Anyone?

Busy, Busy, Busy and more Busy. I spent the day shopping for Thanksgiving dinner. It should be interesting trying my hand at a turkey. I've never done one by myself. Wes keeps saying, "How hard can it be? Just slap it in the oven and set the timer. " Um, we'll see about that. Does anyone know if Little Ceasars is open on Thanksgiving?

Pretty Girls...

The sky has cleared up this afternoon. Starbuck and the girls really love to be outside. Having Starbuck has definately gotten us all off of the couch!

Shout Out To Uncle Colby...

The girls were hard at work on a sign for Uncle Colby, who has a big owie on his shoulder. Sophia and Ceci spent all evening working on their masterpiece to tell him that they hope he feels better soon. Sophie has been very concerned and wanted to do something that she hopes makes him feel better. She tried to get me to send him a band-aid first. Get Better Soon Colby!!!! We love you.

Wild Things...

We've had some very blustery weather the last couple of days. Without being able to get outside the girls are going a little stir crazy. We heated the garage this afternoon and let the girls run wild. Sophia also had her friends over to chase her. I think that the little girls will sleep well tonight.

We Love Chocolate...

Ceci still isn't talking very much. I bribed her today to get her to say chocolate. Sophia wasn't very happy because she kept saying Chocolate and I wouldn't let her have any. She can turn it on and off at will!

Almost considered not posting today. We had a great day but the girls are tired. We've been taking Starbuck on two-a-day walks. She is doing great. Slept all night through last night and doing well on potty and leash training. Good dog...

We've been spending a lot of time in the kitchen this week. Sophia is working on her puzzle skills with a Clifford puzzle and Ceci just likes to take them apart.

Princess and the Laundress...

That is Sophia with her serious princess face on. When she is a princess she talks and looks different. What a drama Queen.


I'm starting to get a little concerned with Ceci and her laundry basket. It is her very favorite thing. She found it after nap today and dumped all of the laundry out so she could take it with her. Ceci was even trying to push Sophia around in it.
