A Rare Dose Of Vitamin D...

This afternoon for the first time we took the girls' bikes to our favorite blocked off road. Sophie tore it up and Ceci was freaked out with a bad case of the wobbles. It was more than nice to be outside and comfortable. Wes and I made a bunch of big plans for the summer as we walked. But scratched them all when the still unnamed baby kicked to bring us back to reality.Wes Versus Bakery Round 2...

90% Done...
"Welcome to my room."
If you look immediately to the left this is what you see. Our Barbie house made by Uncle Marc. Move Sophie.
Straight ahead is the window with our toy boxes made by Uncle Jason for each of our first birthdays. And a pillow made by Grammie. Mommy says she will eventually make curtains. Sophie move!
These are the bunk beds. That is me sending emails and Sophie taking pictures. I wanted her to leave because this is my story. Anyway, I sleep on the bottom and Sophie got the top. I was a little bitter. The signs hanging over our beds are originals made by Grammie. She's got talent.
Here are the fabulous pink stairs. Mommy talked Daddy into allowing pink paint into our house for the first time ever.
To the immediate right are the cubbies. Mommy got rid of our dresser so Daddy would be forced to make these.
There is our new peg board. It is for hanging all kinds of neat things. The funny thing is that Sophie and I can't reach it. Mommy says she really likes that fact. Oh, and it is pink too.
And that is the door into more toys that we never play with. Don't tell Mommy or Daddy but we would rather just have a roll of scotch tape and some empty boxes.
An extra picture of under the stairs. An excellent place to store more stuff. See the doll legs hanging out. Those are fancy dolls that Mommy won't let us play with yet. Hmmmm, maybe because of all the fear she puts into us about breaking things and cleaning up is why we don't play with our toys? I'll have to talk to her about that. I think Daddy did a great job and worked his bum off. (We aren't allowed to say butt.) He built the whole set-up out of head. We are so pleased that we actually spend time in our room now. What do you think?

Further Proof...

Wes and I heard a strange noise in the backyard. We were taking our Christmas lights down (finally) (long story, don't ask) up front. So we snuck around and caught the girls doing the above. As you can imagine Wes and I exchanged one of those exhausted looks that simply said, "that's our spawn alright." We laughed ourselves silly and finally called them off after they started ramming each other and the fence.

And most

I love how unpredictable preschoolers are (as long as its not mine putting on the show). Although this morning in church Sophie did announce to the entire congregation that her Daddy was her valentine. Wes just about crawled under the pew.
