A Real Preschool Graduate...

After two extremely tough years of Preschool Sophie finally graduated.
Sophie and her sisters were dressed to the nines for the ceremony. We arrived early for photos and to nurse Gia.
The graduating class sang several songs. And told us what they all wanted to be when they grow-up. Sophie wants to be a Baby Doctor. Wouldn't that be cool?
The proud graduate.

Sophie's support team. Her middle sister stood the entire time to take it all in.
On to Kindergarten. WOW!

Time For A Change...
I am going to post a poll for the next week on a new name for the blog. Obviously Two Monkeys won't cut it anymore. If you have any suggestions let me know. As just about everyone already knows we had a really hard time naming Gia and appreciated all of the suggestions. PS The trophy wife thing is a total joke.

Back At It...
Today marked the end of maternity leave for both Wes and I. I thought in this post that I would share a little of what we have been up to for the last two weeks. And notice there is a common theme in each of these pictures: EYES WIDE OPEN. I knew that we couldn't get a third sleeper that would be way to lucky. These days I'm averaging about an hour at a stretch, I have gotten three on a couple of occasions. So forgive the even worse than normal typos and grammatical errors.
We also had Gia's two week appointment yesterday. She is 7 pounds 14 ounces, finally reaching her birth weight. We were a little concerned because she lost a lot of weight before coming home. Personally, I'm off of pain medication and the vertigo is almost gone only catching me in the morning and evening (thank goodness).
Sophie is crazy about holding Gia. She has been a huge help with entertaining the peanut.

Even Dum Dum is getting attention. Although she barks at the slightest sound from Gia. She is spending some quality time in her outdoor kennel.

She is very wakeful. Gia does not want to miss anything!
Still awake.

Oh look at this, its bedtime and she's about to be all swaddled up but those eyes are wide open.

A rare moment of Gia hanging out by herself. We still can't get enough of looking at her.

Home Again
Getting ready on the changing table. Real cloths, oh yeah.
Mom and Giavanna waiting for dad to get his act together ( a lot of stuff to get to the car).
Giavanna in her new car seat. It fits very snug and Giavanna was instantly comfortable.
A little bit a drama leaving this morning, they even made me pull the car around (Mom was very embarrassed). The hospital would not let Tracy walk out on her own. It appears that she has a inflammation of the inner ear (makes her very dizzy and nauseous). The doctor says it should be gone in a month. So we will be doing a lot of relaxing with no sudden movements. All said and done it is good to be home with Baby Giavanna.
