Last week was Ceci's Christmas Concert.

Thanks to my friends, we were able to sit front and center.

Nutcracker Version One...

The girls and I went to see their Ballet School's Nutcracker on Saturday. The show ended with a surprise visit from the big guy in red. The girls were thrilled. He was quite possibly the most beautiful and kindest Santa I have ever seen.

Ceci and Gia confiscated Sophie's first school library book the moment she walked in the door.

Black Friday...

Sophie went to sleep last Wednesday with a slight fever. When she woke on Thanksgiving she was a mess. Due to the holiday I couldn't get her in until the Friday morning urgent care clinic. The nurse heard us cough and made a quick assumption that we all had the flu. I finally talked the full-head-masked Doctor out of Tamiflu and into looking at her throat and ears. Low and behold as I suspected Sophie had strep throat again and double ear infections. A strong prescription in hand we ran to the pharmacy and home. She is on the mend now!

PS I absolutely do not fault the doctor and nurse for wearing their gear. I wish I had access to the full-masks that they wore!
