Home Day...

We didn't go anywhere yesterday.

Sandcastle Contest...

Wes took the big girls to the beach last weekend to see the Sandcastle Contest. As soon as they parked the car the girls were off.

The castles were just getting started.

The girls were ready to run when it was time to leave. They were cold.

Two Down...

Finally Wes pulled Sophie's second tooth out two nights ago. (A note to our younger readers; this tooth didn't hurt one bit!) She was hysterically excited once she was over the shock.

Unfortunately Sophie was to late for the Tooth Fairy to make it that night. She was already completely booked, so she came the following night. The Tooth Fairy left Sophie four special quarters and a teeny-tiny, glittery note of apology.

Ceci couldn't get over the fact that Sophie got a letter from the Tooth Fairy.

Number 19...

These strawberries were so very good! I didn't do anything with them other than eat, clean and freeze them. Picking was pretty hard work too. I was sore all over the next day. But at $1.25/pound totally worth it.

A Bounce House Birthday...

I forgot to eat a cookie. I kicked myself all the way home. Because my friend Lori makes the best cookies I've ever tasted.

Our friend Avery turned 3 two weeks ago with a bounce house party. My girls have been really spoiled lately with all of these fantastic parties!

A Few More Pictures...

Scott Is 7...

Last Saturday we were invited to Scott's 7th birthday. It was at the local roller skating rink. As we LOVE Scott and LOVE to skate there was no way we would miss it. Here is a re-cap of the day.

This is how are afternoon started. Holding hands with the bigger kids for a slow loop around.

Striking out on our own for an even slower loop around with the wall as our friend.

And finally going solo without any help for multiple loops.

Sophie was pretty busy the entire time. She even entered the limbo contest with the big girls.

Here a shot with the birthday boy. Scott wanted to stand behind the girls for the picture.

Ceci loved her four inch boost to play video games.

Only in a skating rink would you find a Batman game. If you look closely you will see Micheal Keaton, Kim Basinger and Jack Nicholson. It was of course in perfect working order.

Classic Future Spa Pinball anyone?

Unfortunately they didn't have skates in Gia's size.

Evening Snuggles...

I think she likes it.

The World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions...

I have always wanted to see the white stallions. Finally a childhood dream come true. Unfortunately not my children's dream so we left at the intermission. But at least I can still say I saw them!

The "Big" Party...

Ceci had a Speed Racer party on her actual birthday at the local jumping place. Ceci had a great time. Having it there worked out super well with the baby. Who would have ever thought I would get to throw a party with matchbox cars in the party favors?

Ceci Is 4...

Ceci turned four on June 7. How is that possible? She had two parties this year. These are pictures from her "little party". Look at that cake! It was tasty.

Ceci received lots of fabulous presents. These were her favorite, Speed Racer and Trixie. Recently I found Trixie stripped and tossed under the sofa while Speed has replaced her beloved Mr. Bear in her bed.

A truly "Awesome Book."

The Mach 5 remote control car.

This card from Auntie Kimmie and Uncle Colby plays princess music. It unfortunately still hasn't worn out.

Lots of loot at her little party. Ceci was thrilled. I still can't believe that my recently middled-child is four. I really love that little monkey!
Pictures of the big party to come later.
