Bat Girl And Wonder Girl Wish You...

A Happy and Safe Halloween.

On a recent wet and windy morning, Bat Girl and Wonder Girl were having a meet and greet with their adoring fan.

They were showing all of their best moves.

They were assuring us that no harm could come to anyone near the great crime-fighting duo.

Bat Girl is an especially tough cookie.

They even pulled out the power bracelets.

Wonder Girl prepared for a quick flight if deemed necessary.

Normally they don't let us get this close.

Bat Girl was true to form.

Bat Girl showed us that she has two tough sides.

"OK, people back up. You are getting just to close."

And out of the blue, SMACK!

Wonder Girl thought for a moment that this might be alright.

What a second! "Back off Bat Girl."

"Hey, we're supposed to be tough here. None of that lovey-dovey stuff in front of our people. Get a hold of yourself Bat Girl!"

I Love School...

Sophie and Ceci had their Halloween Party at school today. So darn cute! They did a little parade for the parents and then sang three songs. I just love this stuff.

Don't Tell...

but Wes is really talented. Sometimes in my head I call him "Marty Stewart". He made us all matching t-shirts. After all of his hard work how could I turn him down for a family picture. Actually after looking at this picture I probably should have turned him down.

Ceci was tagged my McKinley and now it is her turn.

Name/Meaning: Cecilia Therese. Once again no idea where Cecilia came from. Therese is after my Mom.

Age: 3 years and almost 5 months.

Nicknames: Ceci, C and Monkey. We always call her Ceci. I feel kind of bad that we never call her Cecilia.

Favorite Activity: Paint, play with horses, dress-up, go to school.

Favorite Food: Macaroni and Cheese, cheese, yogurt, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Pizza.

Least Favorite Food: Anything I make for dinner even if the above mentioned foods are served. Breakfast and lunch anything goes but she always refuses to eat dinner.

Favorite Books: The My Little Pony Butterfly Hunt Book. We read it over and over.

What Makes Ceci Happy: Just about anything. She is a pretty happy kid.

All About Sophie

Sophie was tagged by McKinley a couple of days ago. She finally agreed to sit down and do an interview with me. Ceci will do one tomorrow.

Name/Meaning: Sophia Annalyce. I have no idea how her name became Sophia. It just was. Annalyce is a combination of Ann and Alyce after both sides of the family. Everyone has the middle name Ann or Alyce.

Age: 5 years old.

Nicknames: Sophie, Boo (when she was a baby), Sopher Dopher Doodle Doo. From Sophie: Mama Cheetah and Princess Lee-Tee. She has seriously called herself Mama Cheetah for over a year now.

Favorite Activity: School, Draw, play outside in the yard, play her Littlest Pet Shop Game.

Favorite Food: Macaroni and Cheese and Tacos (which are really burritos).

Least Favorite Food: Tomatoes hands down.

Favorite Book: The Princess Horse Book and Fancy Nancy.

One Never Knows...

We went bowling this past weekend with the cousins. Everything started out awesome with Ceci looking like the pictures below.

Sophie put on a fine performance after each of her turns.

Bella is how we all looked watching Sophie pose.

And this final picture of Ceci is how she finished the night. After starting off ready to party in a split second she had a fever and went lethargic. Strangest thing! I'm not quite sure what she licked this time but hopefully we'll be through it in the next day or two. I'm crossing my fingers that she didn't spread it around or we might never get to hang out with the cousins again.

The girls are practicing for "the Ball" that they are sure they will be invited to.

Daddy's Night...

Preschool held their annual Daddy's Night last week. The girls each got to go carve a pumpkin with Dad. Ceci was up for the first hour. She wanted a happy pumpkin.

The picture above is from Ceci's hour. There were some giant pumpkins in there.

I drove Sophie in and picked Ceci up for the second hour. Sophie was so excited that she had to do yoga before meeting Dad.

Field Trip...

What a perfect day! We went to the Pumpkin Patch with Preschool on Wednesday. The weather was in the high 50's. The kids picked out pumpkins for Daddy's Night to carve with their Dad's. There were some huge pumpkins, but I laid down the law that they had to pack them out.

The rode a a large trailer behind a tractor out to the field. It was quite a thrill.

The classes also got an extended ride on a train. It was so cute to watch them zip around the entire farm. The people were so good to us.

Show Offs...

The kids got a chance to ride their bikes and play with the neighbors this afternoon. It was cold but certainly did not seem to bother the kids. They put on quite a show for us.
